the 30th August, 1919, regarding the pension awarded to Mr. A. Pattison, of the Hongkong police, I have the
from that honour to enclose a copy of a letter
pensioner. and to ask whether the pension or any pert
thereof was awarded under conditions which would
exempt it from Income Tax under Section 16 of the
Finance Act of 1919.
